THE BEREAVED
Alright. As you all have been
wondering who was handling the vocals for THE
BEREAVED. We would like to introduce Travis Neal
to the band as the new lead vocalist!!! Here's a
statement from Travis....
"What's up all!!!
I just wanted to take the time to say
hello to all of the fans of the band and tell
you all how much I'm looking forward
to meeting you all in person very soon!!! I'm very
happy to be apart of THE BEREAVED and I cannot wait
to start performing with the band on stage. I'm very
excited to release this new record; I feel that you
will all be very happy with the new sound!! Much
love to all of you and I will talk to you all very
soon!!!"

The new record is nearly finished.
Vic Records has slated
the record for a summer release.!!! The new record
now titled "Daylight Deception" will feature 10
tracks. Some of them you may have heard and some
will be new. All the songs have been re written with
new vocal patterns and lyrics, except for "Skeleteen",
and "Zero of the day". Those 2 songs will have the
same lyrics but with new patterns. Here is a list of
the tracks in no particular order that will be on
the record.

OCTOBER TIDE Dan Swano is currently remastering
the legendary October Tide debut 'Rain
Without End'.
October Tide was a side project formed
by two members of Katatonia with their
style not at all far removed from that
fine group. Melancholic, sorrowful
mid-paced metal, with death vocals laid
over the top. Jonas Renkse performed the
vocals on 'Rain Without End'. It was his
last harsh vocal performance ever.
The remastered album will have brand new
cover artwork and will be re-released
somewhere next year.
SERPENT
The
Serpentmyspace
page is recently totally
re-styled and has a brand new
design made by Ivan Bragin. The
new myspace page also reveals
the brand new artwork for the
re-release of the second
Serpent
album 'Autumn Ride'. This album
is remastered by Dan Swano, and
will have new art work and
booklet, liner notes from
original member and vocalist
Piotr Wawrzeniuk (also in
Therion) and a rare bonus track.
UTUMNO
Vic Records has bought the rights of the Utumno ''The Light of Day" 7" e.p and the ‘Across the Horizons’ mini cd.
The e.p. was recorded at Studio Sunlight, engineered by Tomas Skogsberg and produced by Utumno during some days in December 1991. The second pressing of the e.p featured cover art by the, back then in the underground, famous Danish artist Paw Nielsen.
In 1993 Utumno recorded the ‘Across The Horizon’ mini cd at Sunlight Studio with again Tomas Skogsberg. The mini cd had one of the most beautiful, and most obscure – meaning hardly known- , cover artwork by famous Kristian Wahlin.
All sonsg will be remastered and some special bonus tracks will be added.
Utumno's frontman Jonas Stahlhammar used to be in the legendary Swedish death metal acts Macabre End and God Macabre as well.
TOTAL TERROR
Vic Records has signed Total Terror!
Total Terror featured no one less then 3 original Edge of Sanity members: Dan Swano and guitars and vocals, Benny Larsson on drums and vocals, and Andreas Drette Axelsson on bass and vocals. Total Terror performs aggressive and furious crustcore / death metal with lyrics in Swedish. The album has been recorded in the 90's and has been mixed and mastered by Dan Swano Fall 2007. The album will contain 27 tracks, a preview of the cover art and 2 tracks can be found on
their myspace.

LEUKEMIA NEWS FROM THE SACRED FLESH
As it looks, the
"Love" album, the third in order for
Leukemia (recorded under the name of
Lame, but we thought it'd be more proper
to release it as Leukemia), will be
released sometime thru
Vic Records
in 2008. It's not anything we will make
any cash on or anything, we just want it
to be released some 13 years after it
being recorded. This album is very, very
special to Leukemia and having Dan Swano
mastered it and Vic release it feels
really great. I have some fucken work to
do now to listen thru it and write down
all the damn lyrics. Hopefully Statik
can find the time to throw together a
very simple, but fitting, cover for it.
We won't spend countless of man-hours on
this package - the important thing is
just to get it out to the guys who liked
this unreleased piece back in the day.
It's a very dear album to all of us
involved in it and therefor it should be
released as it is. Whenever we know of a
releasedate we'll notify you.

Sadly the King Diamond
tour is postponed. This means that
Memory Garden wonґt tour with King this
fall as was planned due to the physical
problems King suffers from at the moment,
a good thing is that the tour will be
re-scheduled when King is feeling better
again. More info on this when available.

'Most regretfully
I have to inform you that the
King Diamond Europe tour will
have to be postponed.
King has over the
past month and a half, been
suffering from severe pain in
his back, and following several
visits to doctors, specialists
and most recently an MRI-scan;
he has been diagnosed a
herniated disc in the spine, and
prescribed absolute rest for
several months.
Failure to follow
the doctors orders, will cause
irreparable damage to his spine,
and for obvious reasons there is
no way he can go on tour and
perform, with all the travel and
physical activities this would
include.
We expect King to
recover fully after a prolonged
period of rest, and we are
determined to re-schedule the
tour dates, not cancel the tour.
Further details
of the re-schedule of the Europe
tour will be given here as soon
as possible.'
CRYSTAL AGE
Gothenburgs legendary extreme metaller Crystal Age
have finally their own
myspace page now.
Formed in the early 90's by Oscar Dronjak.They recorded
a cover of Metallica's "Damage Inc." for the 1994 Black
Sun Records tribute album "Metal Militia" before
releasing their debut album the following year. Later on
HammerFall became the top priority and Crystal Age was
put to rest.
The album ‘Far Beyond Divine Horizons was recorded,
mixed and produced by Crystal Age and Fredrik Nordstrom
At Studio Fredman in 1995. Cover artwork was made by
Kristian Wahlin.
Their legendary and
long time sold out debut will be reprinted in the
nearfuture...of course on Vic
Records!
PERUNICA FEST II is
cancelled
Because Ashen Light (Moscow) didn't receive Czech visas
in time, Percunica fest II is rescheduled to Autumn. No
dates are announced.
FIFTH REASON
Vic Records has bought the rights of the legendary Fifth
Reason debut 'Psychotic' from Swedish cult label
Heathendoom Records. Fifth Reason consists of Kristian
Andren on vocals (ex Memento Mori and Tad Morose), Simon
Johansson, guitars (Abstrakt Algebra and Memory Garden),
Marco A. Nicosia, guitars (Hexenhaus), Marty Marteen,
bass (Hexenhaus, Memento Mori) and Martin Larsson, drums
(Stabb).
No one
less then Simon Johansson and Mike Wead will
remix and remaster the album completely. A very
special bonus track will be added, a compilation
song of over 17 minutes including parts of songs
of the other bands the Fifth Reason members
played in (Hexenhaus, Memento Mori, Abstrakt
Algebra, Tad Morose).

Memory Garden will join King Diamond as their support
act in Scandinavia on their up coming "Give Me Your Soul

Deadmarch-album finally to see the
light of day!.If you have been hanging around our forums, as we
always suggest, you have already found out about this...
Anyways: The seed for TPH, the Deadmarch album that was
recorded back in 1998 in Sunlight Studios with Tomas
Skogsberg, will actually be released in 2007.
I'm awaiting the contract but I have gotten the offer
and will sign it as soon as the papers arrive. We will
re-master the whole thing with Dan Swanö at Unisound and
then release it as it was recorded. This feels very nice
since that album is very special to me in alot of ways.
It was the thing that eventually made me form TPH.
It's not like we'll make any money off this, and
basically I don't fucken care for shit. All I want is
that the label gets their money back for mastering and
releasing it. I just think it's a nice thing that it
gets out, whenever that happens. And the label isn't the
same label that TPH's secured a deal with, just to cut
off further speculation. Vic Records bought the album
and will release it in 2007. A definite releasedate will
follow as soon as we have one.
Deadmarch: "The Project Hate MCMXCIX - Initiation of
blasphemy" will come with a new cover and booklet made
by Statik Majik, the hero who is responsible for
everything TPH, graphics wise, as of the latest years.
And it looks damn good.
I don't think any year in the past has started off this
good before. Great things for TPH happening, Deadmarch
being released and Insects getting a new deal as well...
Insane.

THE GATHERING
Vic Records will release some extreme rare The Gathering
songs. The album, most likely a double cd, will be
called 'Downfall' and will consist besides the 1991
rehearsal demo 'An Imaginery Symphony' and the 1991 (Moonlight
Archerer) demo, a very rare 6 track pre -production demo,
recorded in 1992. Featuring Bart Smits, the grunter from
the 'Always' era, singing normally. This recording has
never been released in any kind of format, it was only
for the band members.
These very rare and extremely exclusive songs will be
released in a strict limited edition only. As a bonus
you will find the The Gatherings Celtic Frost
coverversion of the track 'Dethroned Emperor'! Click

Vic Records has signed Orebro undergound senation This
Haven!
According to Dan Swano This Haven will have a platinum
status rather soon! This Haven is influenced by both
Metal, Progressive, Hardcore and Stoner. This all leads
to an highly original blend quality music. The debut
album will be recorded fall 2006 with the assistence of
Dan Swano. Release date: spring 2008. Cover art by Matt

DAMNED SPIRITS 'DANCE
Damned Spirits'Dance (DSD) has signed a deal with Vic
Records. Damned Spirits Dance perform highly original
prog black metal, in the vein of Borknagar.
Their mini cd 'The Growing Spirit' will be released
early 2007, bautifull cover artwork by Peter Sallai (Bloodgut,
Bornholm ect) and produced by Viktor Max Scheer, former
Sear Bliss guitar player and now the best metal producer
from Hungary.
FIREGOD
The new project formed by Mike Wead (King Diamond,
Mercyful Fate) and Simon Johansson (Memory Garden).
Completing the instrumental side of Firegod is both Hal
Patino (King Diamond) and Snowy Shaw (ex. King Diamond,
Mercyful Fate etc.). Covering music landscapes all the
way from Candlemass to Rush and Pink Floyd will make
Firegod a landmark in today’s music scene.
