Sin of Kain was
formed in 2002 in Budapest and recorded a promo album “Howling Sins
of Alighting Whim” in March 2002.
Many (underground)magazines and webzines deemed
the material was outstanding and the band got some nice positive
feedback. Meanwhile, Sin of Kain had some serious line-up
changes.
November 2003, Sin of Kain recorded an EP
containing three songs. The cover was designed by the well-known
Gyula Havancsák (Annihilator,Nightingale, Memory Garden,
Destruction ,

Summer 2006, Sin Of Kain signed a contract
with Vic Records from the Netherlands for two albums
Sin of Kain
recorded their upcoming full lenght 'The End' during several
occasions in 2006. The album will blow the fans of technical fast
black death metal away! Artwork and booklet designed by art master
Hjules (Gravedigger,Annihilator, Memory Garden). The album
will have a multimedia section containing a video clip of the song
‘Mother Died’.
Up till now Sin Of Kain played many gigs
around Hungary and abroad, amongst other together with: Finntroll,
Sear Bliss, Dissection/Rotting Christ, Cradle of Filth, Moonsorrow,
Primordial and Shining (a small anecdote of the gig with Shining
is that Niklas of Shining cut himself badly and had a deep
wound on his arm, and used a Sin of Kain t-shirt as bandage,
Niklas will do some guest vocals on the second Sin of Kain
album in return).
Some insiders labelled the music of Sin of
Kain as a thrashy version of Morbid Angle with black and prog.
metal influences. The album has an excellent production, sounding
heavy but ‘dry’ as well, the best possible way to get the best
impression of their ultra fast and very complex music.
