RESURRECTION Soul Descent – March of Death CD

Resurrection emerged from the legendary Florida Death Metal scene around 1990. They released their debut album, Embalmed Existence, in 1993, which is considered part of the classic Florida Death Metal tradition. This EP was released on April 23, 2014, through Old School Metal Records and isn’t available anymore and much sought after. Think of a mixture of early Florida Death Metal, with elements reminiscent of Malevolent Creation, Brutality and the rawer side of early Death. These were the final Resurrection recordings,  the original six tracks now re-issued with four bonus songs. Featuring:  Michael Estes guitars (Acheron), founding member John Astl, Gabe Lewandowski ( Killing Addiction, Hellwitch, Equinox) and Damian Chavez on bass and vocals. – Recorded at Blakk Magik Studios, Orlando, Florida by by Tony Blakk (Druid Lord, The Grotesquery).
